In the begining of the COVID-19 pandemic, all seemed wrong in the world. We were largely restricted to places and faces we already knew.

Meeting someone 'outside your bubble' at a 'local restaurant' *gasp* was a recipe for public scrutiny.

Luckily, Ethan and Emily were risk takers of their own accord, both deciding that finding love was worth the risk of getting sick. Despite many hurdles -- a global pandemic, living about an hour away from each other, coming from very different social circles -- they found each other one January day on a dating app.

Their first date lasted hours longer than either of them had planned, and a love blossomed in a small town between their two cities in rural California.

That date turned into a second date, and then a third date, all in the same week. The love grew fast; before they knew it, they survived two years of medium-distance dating and packed all their stuff to move in together in Colorado. *wow so brave*

After a few years of successful cohabitation, they were ready to take the leap and get the government involved.

They tied the knot in an intimate (read: no one was invited or knew they were doing it) courthouse elopement on November 25th, 2025.

Now they want to celebrate with friends and family! (That's where you come in.)
